Chardham Yatra – Chardham Yatra is the most popular spiritual yatra starting from April-May and continues till Oct-Nov every year in Uttarakhand India. This is the best time to visit Char Dhams and enjoy the scenic beauty of the environment and nature. It comprises 4 destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Feel the presence of God and experience beautiful nature. You will visit the most beautiful Dhams in the Himalayas, leaving you spellbound. It’s a belief that God resides in these Chardham. These are places that have the utmost importance in the Hindu religion. Embark on this beautiful spiritual journey.

Day 01: Haridwar - Barkot (210 kilometers / 7 - 8 hrs.) Height: 1352 meters

Pick up from Haridwar railway station / Dehradun airport/railway station. Drive to Barkot via Mussoorie, and en route visit, Kempty Fall Suggested having your lunch at Kempty Fall as no good restaurants are available ahead before Badkot). Later drive straight to Barkot, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the Pahad (hill) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day.

Day 02: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (36 kilometers drive and one side 6 kilometers trek on one side) Height: 3291 meters

After breakfast at the hotel, early in the morning, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti. The trek start from here to Yamunotri (6 kilometers) either by walk or by horse or by Doli at additional cost. The trek passes through a lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Arrive at Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple, "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila. After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji" return to Jankichatti and return to Barkot.

Day 03: Barkot - Uttarkashi (90 kilometers /4 hrs.) Height:1352 meters

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple and others. Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 04: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 kilometers / 3 - 4 each side) Height: 3048 meters

After breakfast at the hotel, early in the morning drive to Gangotri, and en route to Gangnani, and take a holy dip in Garam Kund. Further, drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its natural beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees, and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan. After that, relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Return to Uttarkashi.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 kilometers /8 - 9 hrs.) Height: 1319 meters

After breakfast at the hotel, drive straight to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgoan. En route, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath. Drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Ardh Narishwar temple.

Day 06: Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30 kilometers by road and 19 kilometers trek)

After breakfast at the hotel, after a medical check-up, proceed to Sonprayag. Trek start from Sonprayag to Kedarnath (3584 meters) by pony / Doli. Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries, and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath. Visit Kedarnath temple.

Day 07: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 kilometers Down Trek and 30 kilometers / 1 hr. by Road)

After breakfast at the hotel, early in the morning, you get up before dawn and after taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 AM. for the 'Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the Idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. After temple darshan, trek down to Sonprayag. Further drive to Guptkashi. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 08: Guptkashi - Badrinath (215 kilometers / 7 hrs.) Height: 3133 meters

Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening, visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti.

Day 09: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 kilometers) / Kirtinagar (200 kilometers)

After breakfast at the hotel, early in the morning, after having a bath in the Taptkund take Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati river. Just within three kilometers of Badrinathjee. Later drive back to Rudraprayag / Kirtinagar via Joshimath. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh- Haridwar (160 kilometers /5 hr.) / Kirtinagar – Rishikesh - Haridwar (135 kilometers / 4 hrs.)

Drive to Rishikesh, the 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of " Hrishikesh " and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Visit Rishikesh temples and SightSeeing that include Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Shivananda Ashram. Later transfer to Haridwar railway station / Dehradun airport.
